As they defeated Arsenal 3-0 at the Emirates, Brighton put on one of their best performances of the year, giving Manchester City the chance to win the Premier League title the following weekend.

Oleksandr Zinchenko was not playing for Arsenal.

In the victory over Newcastle last Saturday, Zinchenko hurt his calf and was forced to sit out. Kieran Tierney was brought up in his place. Leandro Trossard, a former forward for Brighton, and Reuell Walters, a rookie, were both listed as reserves.

Roberto De Zerbi, the manager of Brighton, made four alterations to the team that unexpectedly fell to Everton 5-1 at home on Monday.

In addition to Facundo Buonanotte, Deniz Undav, and Danny Welbeck being benched, Adam Webster was ruled out due to injury. They were summoned back: Levi Colwill, Billy Gilmour, Julio Enciso, and Evan Ferguson.

After 51 minutes at Arsenal, Julio Enciso scored with a header from a cross from Pervis Estupinan to give Brighton the lead.

With four minutes left, Deniz Undav lobbed Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale to give Brighton a 2-0 lead.

Deep into stoppage time, Pervis Estupinan scored to make it 3-0 for Brighton.
