Man’s body is found in a park in Dublin

Patrick Boyle (68), who had been missing since Thursday, July 20, was discovered dead.

Gardai have withdrawn a missing person's appeal, this afternoon after discovery of a body in a south Dublin park.

He was last seen on Crumlin's Cherryfield Road. Gardai re-issued a fresh request for assistance in finding him.





Garda investigations are ongoing.

After a corpse was discovered in Tymon Park in Tallaght this afternoon, a Garda spokeswoman announced that the missing person alert has been withdrawn. "The missing person appeal for Patrick O'Boyle has been stood down following the discovery of a body in Tymon Park, Greenhills, Dublin 12 this afternoon, Sunday, July 30, 2023," she stated.

An Garda Siochána would want to express gratitude for the support of the public and the media.
