Met Éireann had issued an orange alert for snow & ice in Dublin & Wicklow due to the possibility of major snow accumulations on Friday morning.

A Yellow weather warning is active for the remaining counties in Ireland. There is a risk of Black Ice forming in multiple locations.

 

Severe weather conditions may impact Irish rail transportation, resulting in delays and cancellation of TFI Local Link bus services. Furthermore, the Road Safety Authority has warned drivers to refrain from taking any unnecessary trips due to the orange weather alert.
