Severe assault in Dublin’s city centre – Man hospitalised

Assault in Dublin's city centre, a guy was taken by ambulance to the hospital with critical injuries.

Around 1:15 am, the incident occurred on Burgh Quay. A man (40s), was taken to St. James' Hospital after suffering critical wounds.

An investigation is ongoing, a garda spokeswoman told Dublin Live, but no arrests have been made as of yet.





"Gardai are looking into an assault that happened on Burgh Quay on June 26, 2023, at 1.15 a.m., during which a man in his 40s sustained serious injuries and was taken to Saint James Hospital for treatment," he stated.

"There have been no arrests. Enquiries are ongoing."
