Shein plans to open 30 pop-up shops this year

Shein, an online supplier of fast clothes, has announced that 30 pop-up shops would be opened this year, with the UK locations aiming to compete with budget-friendly high street retailers like Primark.

Customers will be able to try before they buy at the temporary storefronts that will bring Shein's clothing to high streets around EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa).

Shein has already hosted 11 pop-ups throughout EMEA, including ones in Dubai, Birmingham, Ibiza, and Cork, Ireland, just this past week.





The business stated that clients may anticipate more pop-ups in the second half of 2023, although we have yet to learn which UK locations will be included.

Shein clarified, however, that the business will continue to be "digital first," meaning that any printed stories would only last for a limited time.

Last year, the corporation reported yearly revenue of $22.7 billion, and it is anticipated that by 2025, annual revenue will reach $58.5 billion.

It added that it anticipated an increase in profits to $7.5 billion.

The news came after the new EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) headquarters in Dublin became operational.
