Teenager killed and two more injured in a car crash, Co Tipperary

On Sunday, tragedy struck a Co Tipperary family with the death of a teenage boy due to a road traffic collision. At around 6am, an unfortunate single-car accident transpired at the crossroads of R505 and R661 in Dundrum.

A man in his 30s was operating the vehicle, with another teenage boy and the deceased as passengers. Both the driver and second teen were taken to University Hospital Limerick (UHL), where the former is said to be in critical condition.

After an extensive examination of the crash site conducted by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, the road has been cleared and is open to the public again. Gardaí are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to please get in touch.
