Dublin Gardaí are investigating how a car managed to crash through the guard rail of a first-floor parking garage and onto the sidewalk below.

At about 9.20 last night, the incident happened in Baggot Street Upper in Dublin.

Both of the car's occupants were sent to the adjacent St. Vincent's University Hospital even though no injuries were reported.





Last night, the site was attended by firefighters and paramedics from Donnybrook and Dolphin's Barn, according to Dublin Fire Brigade.

A snapshot of the incident was shared by the fire department. On the footpath, a car is lying on its roof, and a damaged guard rail is visible above a storefront.
